What we're doing and why we're doing it..
I'm Matthew, the creator of Balloon Dog. I also carry fridges up mountains for charity, but that's another story.
We're a family run business based in Bedfordshire and we’ve grown up loving the great outdoors. Whether that’s hiking up the mountains in the Lake District, or feeling the sand under your feet on the expansive beaches of Norfolk. There's nothing better than exploring this wonderful country of ours and all it has to offer. Couple that with your imagination, oh and probably a pair of welly boots in the winter and you're all set to go.
This journey all started in 2021 and over a glass of red wine on a gloomy January evening. I wanted to design clothes that I could recommend to our family and friends because of their good quality. This evolved in to Organic Cottons and sustainable production and a hunt for a partner to manufacturer them for me. Sound easy? It wasn't, but it's been well worth all the effort now the brand is out there and we're getting some amazing feedback.
All our products are made to order, using some great eco friendly materials. This not only helps reduce waste from over production, but it also means they're of amazing quality and super comfy too. We're here to make sure you look as good as you feel, when you're out there making memories that will last a lifetime.

Giving 1% back
I'm a passionate charity fundraiser and can often be seen hiking up mountains with a fridge on my back. I raise funds for 'Scottys Little Soldiers' & 'Help for Heroes' as, The Fridge Hiker. All my challenges take place in our beautiful countryside and help to support those that really need it. Because of this, we're going to be donating 1% of our profits to charity. So you know you're doing your bit to help with every purchase.
Shopping with us, plants a tree
We work with partners to plant a tree for every order placed. This is another way we can give back and offset some of the carbon we produce along the way. We know that in a few years all the small saplings will grow up and form part of a wider forest that will support wildlife and help soak up masses of C02. Each time you but a new item, you know you're doing your bit too.
